Artistic B-Man Today on Daily Dog

Wow this is a record three posts in one day, well we do have some catching up to do!

This is just a quickie from me Brodie, Mommins Samantha was bored this morning so while I was trying to take a nap she got all artistic on me and I just wanted to share the results...

Let me know what you think :0)

Also again while she was bored she was messing around with a video/slide show application, check out the first mini video she made of us pup, follow the link.

http://animoto.com/play/vBb7VNYpEUCoA1YrgJAgEg

You have to copy and paste the address above into your address bar and hey presto you will see the video. You can make it full screen too if you click the square box icon at the right. Kind of a hassle just to see our slide show but since Mommins Samantha hasn't figured how to do it automatically yet that's all we can do, she says Blogger isn't cooperating!

Presents Galore, Today on Daily Dog!

Just as promised it's Brodie here with our next installment, two in one day, that's an improvement! Here are pictures of all of us with our new personalized bandanna's complete with Scottish flag to represent Mommins Samantha!

I heard Montie boasting about he is Kenny's favorite so I'm going to kick it over to you Mo...
Hey I just wanted to say thank you so much to Kenny for the Christmas gifts we will wear them with pride and I promise I won't let Izzie tear it up!

Look at us with our new bandanna's!

Hey this is Izzie, as you can see wee all LOVE our bandanna's. I think the girls ones are the best because they are pink! I want to say thank you to Grandma G. She gave us tons of cool stuff including our own ornaments for the tree and chews. I love the throw it is so soft and cozy and I promise I won't take it out into the yard, I've been doing better with that, but sometimes it is tempting! Over to you Lexie...

Hi I want to thank Granny Hunt for the gifts she gave us. She knows how much I love to knead and I haven't had any soft toys to knead with because the others ripped them all up so she gave us some new soft toys! I was kneading instantly it was amazing, we also got chews which are always appreciated, thank you Granny Hunt!

We here at Daily Dog are excited for New Year I think it's gonna be fun times with the Mommins' they are the best and have decided to stay in with us on New Year's Eve so we are not on our own! Yeahy!

Lazy Days Today on Daily Dog

Hey folks, Montie here, I just wanted to let you know us pups haven't fallen off the face of the universe since we haven't blogged in over a week. I've just been taking it easy... as you can see but we will be blogging soon to tell you about all the great Christmas gifts we got! Thank you to everyone who gave us awesome gifts, especially Grandma G, Granny Hunt and Kenny! Ok back to bed for me but we'll be back soon!

It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas, Today on Daily Dog!

Hey It's Molly here Today on Daily Dog!

I have settled in with the pack here very well and both Mommins Rachel and Samantha are making me feel right at home! Mommins Samantha has been busy working long days but Mommins Rachel has had more time to cuddle me! I am getting along very well with Izzie we hang out all the time, she is so full of fun! Brodie and Montie and cool too but I still haven't quite won Lexie over fully. It's okay though the others said she is always last to warm up to other girl dogs!

The house is nice and cozy with a beautiful Christmas tree, Mommins Samantha took a picture of me all cuddle up waiting for Santa Claus

Over to you Montie, Oh thanks Molly... I've been feeling a little out of sorts recently with the pack dynamics changing but the Mommins' have been trying to reassure me as well as Lexie who has been really nice to me recently. She was even cleaning my dirty paws the other day. I dunno why I get freaked out at times, I just do. But I wanted Mommins Rachel to know that I am working on it and I promise to be better at feeding times from now on.

Here's wishing you Happy Holidays from all of us Today on Daily Dog!

Hanging with Mommins Rachel! Today on Daily Dog

Today on Daily Dog! It's me Lexie. I wanted to talk a little bit about Mommins Rachel today. She is the bestest Mommins ever, as well as Mommins Samantha of course! I love to cuddle with her and play Frisbee with her. We go to the dog park and play at the Mare Island fields, oh and run errands. She always tries to include us in everything.

This past weekend Montie and I cuddled Mommins Rachel while she watched a movie.

Of course Izzie had to try to in on the cuddle action too!

Brodie meanwhile is content with pillows for cuddles!

It was a busy weekend for the Mommins' because the house needed to be painted and tidied for Alex and Granny and Grandad Hunt coming! Us pups tried our best to help, I don't know if we did much good or not but Montie is great at sweeping! haha

Check back for updates when Alex gets here, I can't wait to play fetch with him! Yippee

Picture time Today on Daily Dog!

Hey, Mo Man here, so I guess Mommins Samantha was bored because she has been snapping pictures of us 4 all morning! I thought I'd post a few just to let know see what we've been up to this morning... not a whole lot might I add!

Brodie and Lexie try to take a nap...

while Izzie and I think about what trouble we can get into!

It was kinda cold so I bundled up under the covers!

After our photo fun we all fell asleep under the Christmas tree! Hope you enjoyed our pictures, see ya soon byeeee!

I'm a big girl now, Today on Daily Dog

Hi everybody, it's me Izzie here Today on Daily Dog. The Mommins' have been making a big fuss about me recently and I don't really know why but I do know it has something to do with me growing up!

Hanging out with the Mommins'

It's kinda gross so I'm not going to go into too much detail but a few days ago, Tuesday I think, I noticed ummm, well lets just say I became very away of my girly area! Then when the Mommins ' took a look they started saying "awww your a big girl" and stuff like that. So I asked the others but they had no idea either. Well apparently it's called being "in season" I thought they were talking about fashion haha so I must be the hot new look for the season since I'm "in" okay that was my attempt at a joke, so anyway being in season means I will be able to have puppies at some point. Obviously I'm still a puppy myself but I think it's cool. The Mommins' said I have to be careful because boy dogs that haven't been "altered" could be attracted to me. Luckily B-man and Mo have had the snip so they don't care.

Alright that was a little too much information but what the hey we're all friends here Today on Daily Dog. I don't know what our plans for the weekend are yet but I'm sure they will be on the blog before you know it.

Take care and I'll be seeing you soon, Today on Daily Dog!

Silly Stuff Today On Daily Dog

Hey this is Montie Man here with a silly bit of fun for the day. We haven't been doing much today just sleeping and chillin' at home but we thought it would be funny to put Mommins Samantha's glasses on and take pictures of ourselves! hehehe. Okay so here goes...

This is me looking like a little old man, haha

This is Brodie looking like Great Grandpa B-Man with that drooping face and liver spots...get it? Liver and white springer... liver spots? Whatever! Haha

This is Lexie looking hilarious, like a little old Granny, love the pink leopard print, hahahahaha

Izzie bizzie just tried to eat the glasses so we had to take them away from her 'cos we didn't want the Mommins' to get mad so there is no pictures of her, maybe when she grows up a bit... yeah right!

Okay folks, I'm going to get back to doing what I do best... sleeping and cuddling, bu bye for now!

The new Do's Today On Daily Dog!

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, those of you in the U.S. that is and to those of you who are not I hope your not too cold across the pond. I heard Mommins Samantha saying there had been lots of snow!

This is Uncle Barney playing in the Snow in Scotland at Mommins Samantha's home. He just had surgery and got a clean bill of health at the rip old age of 13 what a star he is! Good on ya Barney, we all send our love!

This is Brodie here with Today on Daily Dog and I am here to tell you about my new do, hair do that is! I had been getting very furry recently, after all my last hair trim was in July! Both of the Mommins' like to cuddle me when I'm all furry but they said enough was enough. Plus since it isn't so cold here like it was in Indiana there is no need for the extra layers. Previously us pups had just been trimmed up all short instead of the more traditional "Springer" cut which leaves the hair on the legs and underbelly long aka "feathering". After having Molly stay with us over Thanksgiving and seeing her lovely Springer cut the Mommins' decided to give it a go with great results, even if I do dislike that clipper!

This is Mommins Rachel giving me a hair trim, Mommins Samantha helped hold on to me since I was trying to escape! As you can see by my face this isn't my most favorite thing have done, but just look at all that fur on the table!

I have to say I do feel better now to have all my extra fur gone and personally I think I'm quite a handsome chap, well I was before but now just look at me...show potential for sure, haha

These are my Puffy pants... well that's what the Mommins' call them!

We all got trimmed up, myself and Lexie got the full treatment with the Springer cut. Montie and Izzie just had an ear trim. The Mommins Rachel said this is because Montie takes forever to grow his hair and she wants Izzie's hair to grow long. Izzie's hair is very cute however I fear it is going to get out of control soon! After our hair trims we all had baths, which again I didn't enjoy but all the cut hair was so itchy and it felt good to be clean!

Me in the Bath, again looking at the face I'm not too happy!

After our exciting day we all took naps with the Mommins' on the couch and cuddled all night. What a wonderful week with the Mommins'! See ya again soon xoxox

Welcome to the Thanksgiving day special here Today On Daily Dog! This is Lexie here bringing you our message today.

The Mommins' just had Thanksgiving day dinner and oh boy did it smell good. All of us puppies behaved while they were eating so of course we were rewarded accordingly with a little tidbit! Yummy!

Now were are just lounging and watching football, it has been so much fun having Mommins Samantha around all week. We will all be sad next week when she is back to work. I think we are going to put the Christmas tree up later, OMG so much fun! Well that is all from me and looks like everyone else is sleeping so check back tomorrow for more from Today On Daily Dog!

Molly's here Today On Daily Dog

Hey there, this is Molly here Today on Daily Dog, I know you're probably thinking who? You may also be thinking uh oh did they get ANOTHER one! Don't worry I'm just here on vacation. My Mom, Sally, is out of town for thanksgiving and thought where better for me to stay than with other English Springer spaniels. I just arrived here earlier today an already I'm feeling at home. Lexie was kinda annoying to begin with, she kept barking! Then she was put in time out in the kennel, after about half an hour she was let out and everything was fine, in fact Lexie and I even took a nap together, see!

Before my nap with Lexie I took a nap with Montie!

So I'm going to be here for a few days and I know I'm going to have so much fun! Over to you Brodie...Brodie...BRODIE!!!

Brodie wake up, you're on the blog...

Oh well looks like Brodie is fast asleep, Izzie how about you, do you have anything to say on the blog today?

Well I guess not, all that's left to be said is HAPPY THANKSGIVING from Me, Molly along with Lexie and Montie, oh and Brodie and Izzie too!

Weekend Getaway! Today On Daily Dog

Today On Daily Dog it's Montie here and I'm going to tell you all about our weekend trip to Napa with the Mommins'

Mommins Samantha woke up early this past Sunday, well actually Izzie woke her up, and she decided that we should all do something fun. Mommins Rachel had been wanting to go to The Culinary Institute in St. Helena to buy some fun cooking items and so it was decided. Mommins Samantha looked up a doggie place she had heard about called Alston Park in Napa. It is a huge grassy, hilly area where dogs are allowed to run off leash plus it had enclosed play areas too! OMG it sounded amazing!

So we all jumped into the car and headed off

This is Izzie in the car when she was just a baby puppy

By the time we arrived at Alston Park we were all hyped up and burst out of the car, this didn't make the Mommins' very happy, but we were all good boys and girls and listened to the Mommins after that. The park was amazing there was green grass, blue skies and tons of other doggie pals to sniff. We went running up and down the hills with the Mommins just managing to keep up behind us, there were vineyards and mountains in the background which made everything look very pretty.

We were to busy runnin' around to stop for pictures!

Mommins Rachel with the 4 of us

Mommins Samantha posing, us pups were in the picture but something more interesting must have caught our attention, haha

After we were all tired out from our outing we got back in the car and headed for St.Helena. We slept in the back of the car while the Mommins' went shopping at the Culinary Institute. Then we headed for the Mommins favorite burger joint, Taylor's Automatic Refresher, I could smell it out of the window a mile away! Oh it smelled so good! They had a huge grass area so all of us pups could hang out by the Mommins while they ate. Mommins Rachel had a burger with bacon, onion rings and crumbles of bleu cheese with fries, Mommins Samantha had a burger with salsa, jalapenos and guacamole and garlic fries, phew boy did her breath smell then she tried to kiss me like a million times, I didn't mind though, I love my Mommins' so much! Of course because we were so good all day we got some fries to eat, what a fun day.

This is the grass area where we ate at Taylor's

We got home pretty early considering all that we did then the Mommins' friend Sally came over with her English Springer Spaniel, Molly. She is a really nice girl and I get along well with her, Lexie was a bit jealous I think but she got over it.

Stay tuned tomorrow for more stories about us 4 Springers and Molly, that makes 5!

Introducing Miss Isabella Blackberry Today On Daily Dog

Hello it's Brodie here and welcome to a new week Today On Daily Dog! Our "Name Game" has come to an end and we have decided on a truly special name for our Little Izzie girl. Thank you to everyone who made suggestions they were all great and some made us laugh too!

Introducing Miss Isabella Blackberry here with her edition of 'The Daily Dog'

So where did the name come from Lexie? Well the Mommins decided to start with "Miss" just like in my name since we are both little girls, then her full first name is Isabella but she goes by Izzie. Then Blackberry was chosen because when we first moved out here to California there were Blackberries in the backyard and she was eating them off of the bushes. The Mommins' didn't see her eat them and became alarmed when Izzie's poo was black, just before they rushed her to the vet she ran over and started eating the berries off the bushes again and they realized what she had been up to! That plus the fact she is Black in color it made sense to go with the name Blackberry. So there you have it, Miss Isabella Blackberry at your service!

What do you think Montie? I think it's perfect, I think we all have perfect names... well except Brodie but thats another story! Oh do tell us Montie. Well The Mommins' didn't actually name Brodie, his papers were stolen when he was just a pup and so was he, it was quite traumatic by all accounts! Anyway of course Mommins Samantha went crazy and got him back. So it remains Brodie Gunner but I heard the Mommins say she actually wanted to use the names Brodie and Gunner in his name but wanted to add a third part to make it sound better like mine, hehe.

Whatever guys my first name kicks butt! Everyone comments about how cool of a name Brodie is! So all that is left for this edition of Today On Daily Dog is to get Izzie's reaction to her new name.

Hi everyone, I just love my name, I think it fits me to a tee. However one of the other suggestions was Isabella Frecklenose Sassypants which would also have worked for me, thanks Erin!

That's all from us Today On Daily Dog, watch out for tomorrows edition, we will have stories from our weekend outing to Napa and St. Helena!

Good Night!

Friends and Family Today On Daily Dog

Hey guys this is Brodie here Today On Daily Dog, Montie was supposed to post on the blog yesterday but he fell asleep on the ottoman... as usual! Today I wanted to give a shout out to some of our doggies friends and post a few pictures of them here on the blog.

Firstly is Kevik, he is an old friend from Purdue, well he is actually from Michigan originally. Kevik is a big Chocolate Labrador, not sure why they call Labradors chocolate and us Springers liver 'cos we look like the same color to me.

This is a picture of Lexie, when she was just 3 months old giving Kevik a kiss, also you can see my freckles in the background! Lexie LOVED Kevik and I have to keep this post quiet 'cos if she sees it she might get upset since Kevik lives at Purdue still. I did hear the Mommins' trying to Persuade Kevik's Mommins Kalie to move out here with us though. Lexie would love that!

Our other buddy that used to live with Kevik is Reggie, he is a pretty handsome guy. Hey even though I'm a guy I can still say that about another guy... come on! Anyway he is a big Bernese Mountain dog and took a while to grow into his legs when he was a pup but now he looks huge!

This is Reggie and Kevik having fun in the water.

I'm not too sure what Mo is doing here but he has got Kevik and Reggie spooked for sure! That Mo is a crazy guy sometimes, haha

Then there is our Uncle Barney, we keep in touch online since he lives in Scotland with Granny Hunt. Barney is a Black Labrador and he's got a few years on him I think he is 13 now, but he sure knows how to have fun!

Here is a picture of Barney and Granny Hunt, I am sooooooooooo excited for all the cuddles I'm going to get at Christmas time from her when she visits us for 2 whole weeks! Plus we always get tons of presents! Woo hoo

Okay that's all from me today, bye for now...I couldn't resist putting up a picture, see I was a cute baby!

The iPhone Bandit Today On Daily Dog

Hi this is Lexie here and welcome to Today on Daily Dog.

We have some breaking news, Mommins Rachel's iPhone was stolen last night while she was inside Bank of America. As she was depositing money, she turned her back for a few seconds and 'poof', her iPhone disappeared. She has already filed a police report but it takes 5 days to process, so she's quickly losing hope. If you have any information please contact Today on Daily Dog and help us continue our search for 'The iPhone Bandit.'

This is Brodie cuddling with Mommins Rachel, we are all trying to cheer her up!

Lets kick it over to Montie who has the highlights of the day. Montie....

Thanks Squeak. Today wasn't too eventful. We slept in as usual and waited for Mommins Rachel to come home from work. Then we ran errands with her, all while sticking our noses out the window to smell the bay breeze. This sent Izzie and Brodie into a frenzy. Once they smell the scents coming off the water they go berserk. Luckily after the store Mommins took us to our secret dog park on Mare Island. It's a secret because it's an abandoned military base and no other dogs or people go there! How do you feel about all the burrs we get from playing in the long grass there Izzie?

I don't really notice them because I can't stop bouncing around the fields! Also, my hair is so fine that they don't stick in for long. Brodie has tons of burrs though. Don't you Brodie?!

Yes, Yes. My ears were covered in long twigs with little sticky burrs on the end. They didn't hurt but were annoying because they plastered my ears to each other. When we got home the Mommins' brushed all of us out and now were nice and soft again. After this we slept the rest of the day. In fact, I'm pretty sleepy so I'm going to go to sleep. This wraps up another edition of Today on Daily Dog! Thanks for tuning into the blog and see you tomorrow!

Bye from all of us at Today On Daily Dog.

The Couches Today On Daily Dog

Hello followers of the blog! Its Montie Man here with an update!

A few days ago I mentioned the Mommins' were getting new couches and that I had heard a rumor that us pups were not going to be allowed on them! Well we have been getting to grips with things, it's a little confusing since we used to be allowed on the old couches but now we are apparently not allowed on the new ones. I decided to work my boyish charm on the Mommins' and I think it's working, as you can see from the pictures...

The ottoman is my favorite

Brodie just loves to sleep!

Izzie acting innocent

Lexie is too busy with her bone to pose for pictures on the couch

Keep the names coming in for Izzie byeee!
