Extended Family Today on Daily Dog

Hey Folks, it's Brodie here.

I thought it might be cool if I shared some pictures of our extended family that we met in Indiana last year. They are a great bunch, here are four of them altogether, Boiler (after Purdue of course!) the Man of their house is the only one not related to either myself or Izzie in some way. Firstly there is Tilley, she is my full sister and litter mate, yep we were born in the same litter in Napanee, Indiana on January 21st 2006! Wow I'm getting old! Anyway she is sweet and looks just like me! Well that's what the Mommins' say.

In the picture below she is the one second from the left sitting. Izzie's Mom Nittany is the black and white girl at the far left. Sami, Izzie and my half sister is the little girl second in from the right and then there is General at the far right of the picture.

Then we met Nittany, she is Izzie's mom and the kindest gentlest mommy I'd ever seen. The mommins' both said that when they we went to pick out Izzie that she allowed everyone to pick up the pups and play with them without getting mad at them for interfering with her litter, now that's a good girl!

This is Nittany with her pups, Izzie is in there somewhere with her siblings! Probably that little butt sticking out under everyone else! Izzie was only about 10 days old here. My how things have changed!

Then Sami joined their family, we didn't actually get to meet her which I am sad about because she looks like a lot of fun. She has the same dad as both Izzie and I. That would be Gunner the man himself, as the Mommins' have said, they must have broke the mold when they made him because his pups are something else!

This is mine and Izzie's dad Gunner in the picture below, now you know where I get the droopy face from!

This is the most recent picture of the gang, Sami to the far left is sure getting to be a big girl and looks a lot like our Izzie Bizze and a bit of me if I do say so myself. In fact Sami is only a couple of months younger than Izzie. Then there is Nittany, Izzie's Mom, to the far right and wow they are identical, just look at that face! My good ole sister Tilley is in there too, second in from the right and of course the man Boiler!

Check out the resemblance between Izzie, Sami and Nittany! I love this photo of Izzie when she was going through her doggie teenage look, it's the gangly phase between pup and adult when you just look funny, she reminds me of myself. She is so cute but don't tell her too often or it will go to her head!

We had a great time when we visited the gang and the Mommins' took some photos, here we all are pre Izzie and Sami, having a great time sniffing!

Yes Brodie we did have a great time with you and Izzie's extended family. Hi it's Lexie here and since Brodie was posting some pictures of his family I wanted to put some up of my own.

This is my dad, Earl and two of my siblings, the black one is my brother and the liver one my sister, I had more but their forever families had already come to pick them up. Mommin's Rachel always tells me how much I'm like my dad because I love to fetch like CRAZY! As you can see so does my dad!

My mom, Sadie was such a kind and gentle mommy, she is black and white and tiny in size according to the Mommins'. She must have given me the super cuddly side to my personality.

Whereas my Dad, Earl is liver and white and quite a big boy, he sure enough passed on the superstar athletic gene along with some craziness, I'll admit it, hehe!

Now what about me Charlie Chops... Oh I'm all the way from New Mexico! My Grandparents on my dad's side live in Arizona and are pretty fancy but not as fancy as my mom's side of the family, apparently they are all Champions whatever that means.
My dad, his name is Luke.

My mom, her name is Lizzie with me and my brothers and sisters.

My dad used to like to remind me he was from champion bloodlines too but I really have no idea what they were all talking about. My Mommins' told me they didn't plan on getting any more pups at the time but Mommins Samantha liked to look at puppyfind.com just to see what was out there. One day she saw one of my brothers and he looked just like Brodie but with my coloring and they fell in love. This is my brother that the Mommins' think looks like Brodie.

They talked it over and decided to enquire about him. They were sad them they were told he was already sold but I was still available. Now at this point I'm beginning to sound like an after thought right? Don't worry the story gets better! So they looked at my pictures and fell even more in love, yeahy! Me and my brothers getting into mischief, I'm the one of the far right

The Mommins' tell me all the time they are so glad that my brother was taken otherwise they would have never known me and their lives would be missing something. Yeah, they would be missing me, and let's face it without me who would rearrange their shoes and hide their socks, I mean seriously! I just don't know what they would do with me. So the Mommins' drove 6 hours and my parents owners drove something crazy like 14 hours with me and we met up. It's all kinda fuzzy to me but I'm told I was cute, little and sleepy from my travels. I became best friends with Izzie right away cos we both like to play and Montie too. I really look up to Brodie and I hope one day to be as good a boy as he is... but don't tell him that! Not forgetting my girl Lexie we have the most fun playing with the ball... at least I do when I steal it from her! So all in all a happy tale I would say and I am happily the Prince of the backyard! Check out how cute I was, how could they possibly resist me!

Hey hang on what about me, Montie? Ha gotcha, I was kind of a rushed pick up you could say and so the Mommins didn't have time to take any pictures of my parents but they did get to meet them. As I remember it I was starving and sad. The mean breeder came and grabbed me out of my dark kennel and took me into the house, I was terrified. I was cowering around and saw two new faces, they looked different to the usual faces and now I know why, they were smiling at me instead of frowning. I had only known a mean frown directed towards me up until then. I was coaxed with treats which I readily took since I was starving. Even though I wasn't selling myself too well, Mommin's Samantha scooped me up into her arms, I was only a baby after all.

Then she took me out and into their car. I was so scared but also a little excited and hopeful that this could be a new beginning. I never in my wildest dreams thought it would be what it has turned out to be! I am now a California boy, taking trips here, there and everywhere even road trippin' across the country with my trusty pack. I get to go hiking in Napa and see the mountains and beautiful vineyards even though all I care about is getting as dirty as possible, hehe. I have two amazing Mommins' and the best Brother and sisters in the world. I have an unlimited cuddle supply and a house with back yard to call my own. So you see folks I don't need any pictures nor do I want them to remind me of the bad times, all I care about is my pack and the good times we've had and will have to come!

Me and the B-Man napping

That's all from us Today on Daily Dog, hope to see you again soon!

Fun in The Garden

Hey Boys and Girls, it's Charlie here.

I'm settling in great here and I LOVE my back yard. Mommin's Rachel is great in the garden and has this whole area with all kinds of interesting and tasty stuff in it. She has a fence around it for some reason, I don't know why because it's so much fun to play in why should we stay away from it? Brodie told me I wasn't supposed to be ripping the green leaves off the bushy plants in there and tearing chunks from them but it is so much fun! Plus there are big red round chunks on the bushes and if you find one of those it's even tastier! Anyway I have to sneek in when Brodie isn't looking otherwise I get in trouble from him like in this photo

It's ok though I figured out a good technique, I sneek in grap some leaves then run off hahaha, yippeee so much fun!

I think Brodie is just being grouchy since the Mommins' have been giving me tons of attention and it makes him all pouty... check out the pouty face in this photo hahaha

Cheer up Brodie, there is enough love from the Mommins' to go around 110 times!

Charlie... Cute As Can Be

Hi it's Lexie here, Charlie is settling in well and I have to say he to too cute, irresistible even.

I'm not one to get gushy but he has won me over and even let him play with my toys... and you know how I usually feel about that!

This is Mommins' Samantha with all of us on the bed... I just noticed that Brodie borrowed Mommins' Samantha's glasses, maybe he was trying tolook smarter, well that didn't work, haha!

I hope you think he is just as cute as I do! Bye for now xoxo

It's Been a While Today on Daily Dog

Hey it's Izzie here today on Daily Dog...

Omg it's been sooooooooooooooo long since we have written on here. I just can't get the others motivated so I decided to do it myself! I've been feeling kinda funny recently, I've not been hungry so I have been refusing my food and acting crazy at times. I just couldn't help myself. I accidentally ate Mommins Samantha's new video camera she got for Christmas, it was her favorite too, oops, the whole thing was totally destroyed and she had to put it in the trash. Then she thought it was Montie and so he was in trouble until she figured out it was me. So now I have to sit in the kennel until Mommins Rachel gets home at lunch time. I don't mind it too much but it's more fun to wrestle around with Mo. I over heard them saying that they are going to let me out soon on a trial basis to see if I'm good. I will try my best but I really can't help it, apparently I did over $500 worth of damage! Oh here comes Mo...

Yeah Izzie you totally you got me into trouble with the Mommins' for a week until they realized! It was okay though because now they feel bad and keep cuddling me all the time to make up for it, hehe!

Yeah Mo you're getting all the love but they can't help but love me cos I'm soooo cute! Anyway, the Mommins' were worried about me acting destructive, not eating and then they noticed my teats we big and I was acting all mothering to the others apparently, but I just like to clean the others!

So Mommins Rachel took me to the vet and sure enough I have a phantom or false pregnancy whatever that means, I may even get milk in my teats! The Mommins' tried to explain it... They said I think I'm preggers but I'm not so my hormones change as if I really am. I guess there is a lot more to it so you should google it but long story short I'll be fine in a few weeks and back to normal but no puppies thank god! Only problem is that once I've had one I can have them every time I'm in something called heat which happens twice a year. The Mommins' said that they don't mind cos we all have our quirks, that's what makes us dogs so much fun!

In other news Molly is staying with us again, I've been mothering her too, sometimes she doesn't mind me cleaning and licking her, other times she like to be left alone to relax but relaxing is not in my vocabulary hehe! She is quite settled in with us while her Mommins is in Hawaii.

Lexie is her usual self which means crazy Frisbee girl at the dog park and cuddling with Mommin's Rachel at home. Of course my big Bro B-Man is unchanged meaning sleeps 23.5/7! hahaha, oh I think I see him waking up maybe he will want to talk on the blog... Oh wait never mind he was just rolling over and now back to sleep, I'm going to annoy him... BRODIE YOU ARE SO BORING...WAKE UP!

Grunt grunt, slobber slobber... Izzie I'm trying to sleep here!

Okay I gotta go, it's almost dinner time and I'm hungry today! Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Izzie Bizzie's First Hair Cut Today on Daily Dog

Howdy out there! This is Izzie Bizzie here, I know it has been SOOO long since we have been on here but you know how it is after the holidays we have just been feeling sluggish!

This is me beside the workout equipment in the garage, Mommins Samantha thinks I look like Brodie but I don't see it. He's a boy!

We had a fun filled time with the Mommins' last weekend, they stayed home all weekend to relax, which meant fun for us pups. Mommins Rachel decided it was time for a hair trim on Sunday. I was kinda freaking out because it was my first "big" trim ever. Of course I took it all in my stride even though it was my first time with the clippers. Brodie, who has had lots of hair trims and is supposed to be setting a good example was being a bad boy, well that's what Mommins Rachel said, he kept trying to escape the clippers. I don't know what the fuss was about it's not as if it hurts!

Mommins Rachel trimming my long fur...

It wasn't just me that was needing a trim, Lexie's fur is kinda weird and looks like the end of a broom when it gets long, ahahahahahahaha, oh no she heard me aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!

Hello this is Miss Lexington Starr here to say that my fur is just fine, thank you very much! see for yourself, cute as a button the Mommins' say!

Montie only had a ear trim, Mommins Rachel said he looked skinny last time he was shaved completely but Mommins Samantha made a good point that he is loosing hair like crazy and causing little clumps of hairball "tumble weed" to occur all over the house! So I think I heard them saying they are going to trim him more so we will see what happens, Montie is sweet he loves the attention of being brushed and trimmed so I'm sure he will be fine with having a new hair-do!

Brodie on the other hand HATES it and tries to escape at all costs, Montie felt bad for him this last time and jumped up onto the grooming table to keep him company

Hey it's Montie Man here, we had so much fun on grooming day, Brodie doesn't agree...Come Brodie it's not that bad!

Whatever dude, Brodie here, for starters, I'm not scared of the clippers I just like to look like a furry bear! Secondly, maybe if there were some kind of beer incentive I may be more cooperative in future... wink wink

Hello From The Girls, Today on Daily Dog!

Hi folks, it's me Izzie Bizzie with my big sister Lexie.

Things have been pretty quiet since Uncle Alex, Granny and Grandad left, we had a relaxing weekend with the Mommins' and if was fun to have time to cuddle with them. I heard Mommins Rachel saying that we are expecting more visitors soon so I'm excited for that too! I'll keep you posted on that when I have more info. Over to you Squeaks...

Hi, yes it has been quiet without a house full of guests but we sure had fun as you may have seen from some of the videos :0) if you haven't seen them I will have the Mommins post the link later. Our friend Molly is still here with us, I'm so used to her being around I forgot she was just here for a visit. I'm sure her Mommins is missing her but she is doing well, we keep her busy so she doesn't have time to be sad!

In other news the boys Brodie and Mo are doing great, don't tell Mo I said this but he is looking really good recently and becoming quite the handsome man hehe.

Love to all! xoxox

Then Montie comes along and I get a little mad because I thought he was trying to get the drink too, I should have known better, Montie hates to drink!
